"La habitación limpia, grande, un poco mal distribuida pero aceptable, el personal muy amable pero en los restaurantes las porciones exageradamente pequeñas y los nombres de los platillos no corresponden a lo que debería de ser, ejemplo: un filete mignon sin tocino y sin salsa de champiñones, eso era un filete asado, rico y sabroso pero NO ES MIGNON "

"Our room was a studio suite on 3rd floor. Our air conditioner was dropping such much water that there was a small pool on the floor. On the third time to try to have it fixed, we finally agreed with the maintenance guy to shut it down and not use it. The kitchen area, stove top (greasy)and appliances blender and coffee machine were NOT clean. Had to leave a note for housekeeping. The bed was comfortable but there should be night tables and lamps instead having to use overhead lights. We had to share our balcony with the next room. Luckily it was not a smoker or a loud person. However the person on the other side of the wall, their smoke was not pleasant. The location of Los Picos and price per night was very good. We would definitely return. "

"Had to do a little walk to get to the ocean, walking across the street. No big deal if you don't mind walking, as the street has basically no traffic. Food was good, had a few issues with a couple of the servers, but no big deal. Rooms were big and cozy, property was in really good conditions, no issues whatsoever with room services. They have plenty of restaurants to pick from, but you have to remember to make reservations early in the morning because they fill up pretty quick and you have to do it on a daily basis. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with the buffets, which are not bad and they have two of them. Good variety of food. Two problems, though. They have plenty of pools, but they close them at 6 pm, which I never heard of. I didn't mind it that much because I love jumping in the ocean and I barely use the pool, but sometimes I like to go in the pool for a few minutes before getting ready for dinner. Other hotels usually stay opened until 8 or 9 pm. And my other main issue was that I made reservations through Expedia for 3 couples. And when I arrived to the hotel, they only found a reservation for one of the couples (not even mine) using the confirmation I received from Expedia. I was kind of mad because they say they had no way of knowing we were coming together and they oit us on separate areas. I don't see the point on making a reservation through Expedia if there's no communication among them. Bad experience that way and barely any help"

"RIU Jalisco was excellent! Very clean and stylish property, newly renovated. Staff was friendly, however a few of our requests were not met at first ask but they came through in the end. We will definitely be back."
