"Just seeing the architecture of Lied Lodge makes it worth the visit. This beautiful building is a combination of stone, brick and timber, and the entrances have lovely large doors that have unique brass handles. When you enter the lobby it’s spectacular with a very high ceiling, lots of glass and timbers, and a view of the wooded valley behind. There’s a spacious open deck with several seating options that is perfect for enjoying the view. Guest rooms line the long hallways on four levels and each has floor to ceiling wooden pillars within as part of the decor. You’ll find friendly and helpful staff, and two options for sit-in dining as well as room service. The pool is large and well lit with natural light from windows on both sides and a fenced in patio connected to the outside. There is a hot tub beside the pool as well as a small wading pool for little ones. You also have the option of booking a massage in the spa, for an additional fee. I love staying at Lied Lodge!"
