A wonderful location with an amazing pool of more than 100m. Rooms are perfect. The only negative point is that the planes staring from the airport are crossing the hotel resort and thieves pretty loud )-; to be fair it is not more than 1 per hour and I became used to it after a while (-;

beautiful serene hotel directly facing the lagoon. We enjoyed very much staying there, the complimentary foot massage and lovely views. the pool looked stunning, even though we did not swim. we would like to see more lagoon activities - ie kayaks and paddle boats for rent from the hotel.

About 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. The pool is amazing. The room is a bit worn, but the overall experience made up for it — the restaurant is a gem. It offers lots of food options and a peaceful atmosphere with views of the garden and lagoon. The pool is also very beautiful and well-maintained. My stay at Jetwing Lagoon was truly exceptional. The manager, Romello Perera and Front Office Manager, Theresa Phyo went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Theresa, who helped me with reservations at other Jetwing properties, was amazing. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made planning the rest of my journey in Sri Lanka effortless and enjoyable. The setting is serene, the service is great - the spirit of hospitality is alive. I would recommend this beautiful sanctuary to any traveler.

I'm a competitive swimmer. This hotel has a 100 meter pool with crystal clear water. I was in heaven. The rooms were awesome. The view from our room was fantastic. The bathrooms are uniquely designed. The only downside was a very limited menu at the restaurant

The property is quiet and serene. The staff are polite and helpful. The luxury room has the bathroom “outside”, so you battle insects, especially mosquitoes when using toilet, showering etc. I even had 2 small frogs living in the shower drain! Restaurant service is slow but food, generally speaking, was nice, albeit, a little overpriced. Other than dining, services like spa, taxi etc are quoted in USD at very expensive rates. I find this practice annoying. The location is a little remote compared to central Negombo so getting an Uber etc can be difficult. Nothing within walking distance. Dark arrow roads mean the journey at night can be daunting. As a business traveler, it was a poor choice for me. Wifi in resort is unstable and weak signal. Luckily the manager helped by installing dedicated router in my room. Room has no TV.

As a wellness resort, Jetwings Lagoon offers high-end facilities for mid-range prices. We loved the 100m pool, the healthy food menus, and the on-site Ayurvedic Clinic. The massages were excellent, and the Ayurvedic doctors provided a unique approach to addressing some long-standing health issues—the perfect place to recover from jet lag.

Hotel between the sea and lagoon

I stayed here for one night before I was flying from Colombo Airport. I had a loverly room with a fantastic bathroom and view of the lagoon from the bedroom. A very nice relaxing place to stay. Has a nice restaurant, a spa and large swimming pool.

A remote Hotel

This is a reasonably comfortable hotel remotelt located on the lagoon with very limited facilities in the neighbourhood The proerty benefits from a 100metre swimming pool - reputedly the longest in Sri Lanka; The gymnasium is one of the tiredest I have seen in a long time Really nice Sri Lankan food from the restaurants

Here is close to the religion place like a church. So, some praying starts sounding from early morning. In addition there are some mosquito flying anywhere. Thus you need to have some repellent for comfortable stay.

The hotel closes down in April 2024, I was told

It was shockingly bad, run down, mildew in bathrooms, broken cupboards and damp musty beds. It is no 5* hotel. The photos shown on internet are either fake or ten years old. Don't get fooled. We moved out in 2 or three hours to Jetwing's other property in Colombo, an hour and a half away after a long tiring day.

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Anlage. Sehr gut sind die Behandlungen und die Behandlungsräume. Toll ist auch der Pool. Für die Nähe zum Flughafen ist der Fluglärm sehr gering. Man wird davon eigentlich nicht gestört. Verbesserungsfähig wäre noch etwas das Essen. Hier könnte man das Thema Ajurveda am Buffet noch etwas stärker betonen und auf diese Speisen hinweisen. Die Fahrt vom Flughafen zu diesem Hotel dauert 30 Minuten. Eine Ankunft auch weit nach Mitternacht ist kein Problem. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner kurzer Aufenthalt. Hervorzuheben bleibt auch noch die Grösse der Zimmer.
