"Upon arrival to check in, I was told they upgraded me to a double queen room my original reservation was for a king room. I do not understand how a double queen is an Upgrade New.
There were kids there with their families that had gotten the elevator floor wet with their feet from the pool mixed in with the natural dirt from the earth floor.
The carpet in the aisle, walking down to my room was all pulled up and ruffled like you were walking on a wave of water. Literally, the carpet was in waves.
There were stains on the carpet in my room.
I really expected to feel more at home in a clean pristine environment at a Windham hotel. With my new job, I will be making occasional visits to Hattiesburg Mississippi, but rest assured I will be trying a better hotel.
On a positive note, the air worked great. My room was really cool. The hairdryer was a plus the refrigerator and microwave was a plus and worked very well. The bed was very comfortable sheets and linen was very clean and the TV was a smart TV and worked well."
