I love staying at the Comal Inn, I will definitely be returning. The cottage I stayed in was very clean and very peaceful to stay in. Best place to stay when I visit New Braunfels!

Great place to stay!

My husband and I had a great stay! The location is top notch, and the suite was welcoming, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We loved the long front porch and made use of the several rockers. We even watched a local deer graze in the front yard across the street.

The Comal Inn is so nice! it's a quaint property located very close to downtown–walkable. The rooms are super clean and very well equipped with anything you need for your stay. I had a jacuzzi tub which I sat in every night, very relaxing. AND they leave you some lovely breakfast food!

Cozy Comal Inn

Cozy Inn. We were there for one night and it was a perfect location. The owners left milk, orange juice, and yogurt in the refrigerator along with some cereal and pumpkin bread from a local bakery which made for a nice little breakfast. We didn’t see any other guests as we arrived pretty late. It’s a quiet location, perfect for couples or a good nights sleep.

Thank you for the cozy one bedroom stay. We came for a one night stay to attend the Wassail Festival. Proximity to the festival was superb. We were able to walk right downtown and join in with the festivities. The room was exceptionally clean and warm when we entered. We especially enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the pillows. We felt like the bed was a five star experience. The room was equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator and nice warm white towels for the bathroom. The room had a television that allowed you to access any of your main stream streaming devices such as Apple Netflix, Hulu, etc. It also had a coffee machine that was filled with coffee and tea for your personal delight.The end is located in a neighborhood that was extremely quiet during the hours of rest. If you want a good night sleep, this is the place to come to after a long day of exploring the small town. We will definitely be back and hopefully get to enjoy the patio which was filled with beautiful bougainvillea plants and comfortable patio seating. It was so nice to see that the owners of this cottage took such pride in making sure that their guests enjoy their stay. The personal touches were evident of your love for design and comfort.

We stayed in the Texas room. It was lovely and decorated so cute. The bed was so comfy. We slept so well. The breakfast goodies were a treat. Brent and Julie made sure that anything we needed was taken care of quickly. We will definitely recommend staying here. We enjoyed it.

Great Stay!

Quaint quiet place within about 3 blocks of dowtown NB. The owners were very hospitable and accommodating and we really loved the room-it had everything necessary and then some and very clean and comfortable. I liked that it had a ceiling fan but wish we could have turned it up higher. We had activities planned in Gruene and this was about a 10-12 minute drive

Clean and Cozy

The Juniper room was very clean and cozy. Both the sofa bed and king bed are extremely comfortable and we were given plenty of linens. The fridge and coffee bar were well stocked and everything was laid out with care and precision. They even provided mosquito spray so that we could enjoy the patio worry free.

Great for relaxation

Wonderful clean room in a quiet neighborhood. we had the Texas Cottage, two couples have their own king bedroom. breakfast fresh and simple, inviting shared spaces, liked both the porch and patio spaces for coffee and cocktails. Loved the 9p to 9a quiet time so i could really decompress. Their guest services book had a really nice curated list of restaurants and places to go/things to do, better than any advertisement based web search, so take advantage of it. We will go back!

Great Location and Super Comfy Bed

We stayed in the Mountain Laurel room for only one night, but wish we had been able to stay for longer. It is a lovely light and spacious room with an extremely comfortable bed and top quality linen. Well appointed room with everything you might need. There is a covered patio on two sides and a delicious continental breakfast provided. Wonderfully quiet location but only a short walking distance from the town. Owners are friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed exploring New Braunfels and it was easy to get an Uber to Gruene Hall and back again. Would highly recommend.
