"The hotel is in desperate need of an update. Chipped paint, water damaged ceiling tiles, etc. Everything just felt like it needed cleaned."

"When I arrived at the roadway Inn, they had told me that the pool was closed due to no lighting in the pool area so we did not get to use those amenities until the next morning and the pool doesn’t open until nine and you have to be checked out by 11 so an hour of the pool was all we got to enjoy!! the Jacuzzi was pretty dirty and it was breaking apart. My daughter and my son-in-law cut their foot on a piece of the Jacuzzi that was coming up from the bottom!! The room was pretty dirty when I entered it. I always check my bed when I go into hotel rooms. The bed was fine. I didn’t find any kind of bugs, but the comforter to cover up with was shredded and the office had no other comforters for me to cover up with the air conditioner had a short circuit and was going on and off. It was kind of scary so we pretty much sweated it out or stay there cause we didn’t want to start a fire."

"We stayed for two nights. Both nights we had no hot water in the shower. We did in the sink but not the shower. We let the front desk know and he said he would turn up the hot water. We had another friend stay and they had hot water for the shower. "

"The staff were friendly enough and helpful. The room was well lit with optional very bright white and amber tones to satisfy my taste for subdued lighting in the room and brighter choices for specific areas like the microwave area. The bed was firm bit pillow-topped for our aging bones. The included breakfast was surprisingly delicious with the exception being little or no fresh fruit. Hotchoices were do-it- yourself Belgian waffles (4 little rounds per iron)..This was good for sharing or smaller appetites. The mini cheese omelets were ample sized and the sausage patties were flavorful.. In addition, there were seasoned home fries that needed no doctoring. Standard cereal choices, bagel and toast were also available. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a juice machine were the standard. The disappointment was the hot tub was heated but the jets were not functional. I opted to stay in the room and soak in the spotless tub. I could lie back and submerge my aches knees without wrenching my neck. Soft tissues were provided. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap were amatching citrus ensemble. Make up remover,, shower cap,, cotton swabs and a nailfile rouned out the ccomplementary vanity offerings. The towels were absorbent and nearly big enough for size 14 hips. There was a Kuerig K cop coffee make with 4 choices of blends,, fridge and mini microwave. There was an ice machine on our floor near the elevator. Snacks could be purchased at the fron desk. I would repeat !"
