"I had planned a nice get away for my lady friend. It was our first over night date. I got the Jacuzzi tub with the king bed. Got to the room and the bathroom floor was wet, not a small puddle either, the fresh water tank was leaking water. I out a bath towel down and decided I'll tell them about it in the morning. Ran water in Jacuzzi and added the bubble bath. My lady friend got in and turned the jets on, about 5 mins later she started noticing things floating around. She quickly got out of the tub and we looked and the jets was shooting out shredded cucumbers. My friend was disgusted. I called down to the front desk twice. Finally the night guy came up witnessed both issues and apologized, but offered nothing as a solution. I then went down stairs at 4am and noticed a different employee. I formed them about the two issues and she noticed the other clerk didn't put in any notes. She updated the account and told me to speak with her supervisor later that morning.
When I came down to check out, not having used the Jacuzzi tub and my date ruined, I was told that the supervisor and the manager was not available and that they wouldn't help me anyway because I booked the room via Hotel.com. So no call to me to see if they could address the issues and no one answered the phone when I called back up there.
This stay was a disaster and the feed back I got was definitely not ok. I'll be contacting the BBB to inform them of how I was treated. I will not be returning. Very disappointed"
"Very disappointing stay
The room was extremely outdated and not properly maintained. The microwave and refrigerator were both broken, which was very inconvenient. The floor was damaged.
The bathroom was in terrible condition — the bathtub was dirty, and there were hairs stuck on the shower walls.
What bothered me the most was that the online photos do not match the actual condition of the room at all. The pictures are very misleading. Yes, the price was cheap, but if the real condition had been shown honestly, I would never have booked this hotel.
It honestly feels like this property hasn’t been inspected or updated in decades. Very poor experience overall."
"Our TV didn’t work because the last people in our room took the HDMI cable. Even though we knew how to fix it they never got us a new cable.
There was one particular front desk receptionist in the evening, her name was Juanita I think? She was extremely rude. She always had an attitude or acted “put out” if you needed to talk to her. At one point I went downstairs to ask her about the Amazon package I know had been delivered and she gave me an attitude, waved her arms around and said there’s nothing here the girl before me must’ve taken it. She didnt even look for it. The next day the manager walked in the back area and came back with the box.
But please don’t think that all the staff is bad because everyone else was wonderful.
At one point, our key cards stopped working. We went downstairs to ask about it. The girl with the attitude was there and re-swiped our cards. Another girl that was working the front desk and had just finished work offered to come up and make sure we could get in our room. I stayed downstairs in case the cards didn’t work. I was around the corner waiting & attitude girl started talking, smack about the other girl, and my son and I to the customers that were standing in the lobby. The other young lady helped us get in. I can’t remember her name, but she was very sweet and so is Stacie & the manager was nice.
Unfortunately, I have 1 more complaint and that was the beds. I’ve never slept on a more uncomfortable bed in my entire life!"
