Beautiful property. Friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend. Loved the ambience and the outdoor pool. TVs in the bedrooms were a nice touch--we didnt have to share with the kids.

Location for Jazz

Location for jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street was amazing. Having rooms at back of hotel allows you to sleep. These rooms are great because of kitchen. A lot of music comes from the bars and local street musicians especially Thursday to Saturday night. The citizens of New Orleans are very friendly.

Everything was in walking distance from the hotel. The French market was only a 2 minute walk, as was the trolley system. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, lots of live music outside, and the property is gated, so it’s quite safe. Though we didn’t get around to using it, it had a nice sized kitchen with plenty of appliances that would’ve been useful had we stayed longer. We had a wonderful time and will most likely stay there again in the future

Place is pretty dated and the inside of the room was not properly cleaned. 22,00 daily resort fee to me is ridiculous, the place is already overpriced. The location is excellent though, clubs and restaurants were only a walking distance away.

Wacky, funky, loud and perfectly located. In the heart of the Frenchman Street bar & music scene. Bustling and rocking on a Saturday night just across the street from this 1960’s former apartment building (that’s a guess) - not luxurious, not really updated but the perfect place to crash after a night of bar hopping. It’s a very fun spot but is super urban. Buckle up for a great time. Maddy checked us in - breezy, chatty, low stress, ultra helpful hostess and fun. Sort of expensive but worth it because of the location.

Happy weekend stay

love to stay at this location when I go to New Orleans, the rooms are great and in a good location. I was put on the top floor and I booked my room months in advance. The staffing was not very friendly this time. They need an attitude and happy class to attend. Ceiling fan did not work. But all in all I recomend this place anytime to anyone.

The front office staff was terrific, super helpful and pleasant. The pool area is nice, and fences and plantings make it private and serene. We stayed in a room with a king bed, basically a full kitchen, and a nice sitting area at one side of the room that housed the kitchen. It was almost like having a one bedroom apartment. I wish the bathroom counter could have been bigger, but just not enough room for it. For the price, I thought it was a pretty good place to stay, a block from one end of Decatur and bars with music close to the hotel. A couple good food places within a block or two and a nice park a block and a half away, if you have young kids.

Hotel is in an ideal location but the rooms itself were not the cleanest. Fans looked like they have not been wiped down in a long time. The floors were dirty and there was a weird smell when we walked into our room. Maintenance came the next morning to clean it after we said something. Overall if you are looking to stay near everything this is a good place but I would not return.

Great location, pick your room wisely!

We booked a 4 night stay a couple of days before my card was charged by the hotel to ensure the booking and check funds on the account this was not expected but I phoned the hotel and they explained the process no problem. We booked a two bedroom apartment which was at the front of the hotel. The apartment was excellent with good bedrooms and clean throughout. We did not realise how noisy it would be and the clubs played on till past 2am in the morning, being at the front of the hotel made it difficult to sleep with the noise so earplugs would be useful. Or ask to be in the rooms at the rear of the hotel. The staff were excellent friendly and polite and the hotel itself was positioned well for walking to all the major attractions. In all the hotel was excellent but if you don't like loud music or are a light sleeper do not get a room at the front of the hotel.

What I dislike about this place is that it’s very run down the picture online is not what u see when you get there. The room that I placed in had lots of huge roaches big ones. And the toilet wasn’t working. Concierge‘s refuse to give me another room to stayed in. Guys don’t waste ur money to go there looks are very deceiving online to person.

Good location, comfy bed, not super clean

The good: Fantastic location if live music is what you want. Frenchmen Street is the place, and this is right in the middle of the action. The noise from the street wasn't too bad, and the view from the balcony is fun. Also, the bed was really comfortable! The not-good: Despite some obvious efforts at upgrading, this place is still shabby. The floor was so dirty I had to wash my feet after taking a shower before getting my shoes on. My advice: bring slippers. The bathroom sink & cabinet were pulling away from the wall, and the shower was just painted, not tiled, so mold was starting to grow in there. We were very disappointed that the spa was permanently closed "for the season" ... not sure what season or reason. It looked perfectly functional, just not heated. Could have used that soak after all the walking to & from French Quarter. It's a half-mile or more to just about anything other than Frenchmen Street music clubs. Basically, even with the extra living room space & kitchen, this was overpriced for what it is. The staff is friendly and helpful and the office is staffed 24/7.
