Absolutely stellar place, owner is super cool & helpful, kitchen & dining area great. located 2 minute walk from PaknSave, 6 minutes from bicycle rental. Great value!

Older property with a few squeaky floorboards but was quiet overall. Big kitchen to use, was kept clean by users. Bathroom ok, brown toilet bowl was a concern. Good bed and clean bedroom. Well situated in town.

Brett was great, supportive, and has a caring personality...carried my bags from the car as i was on crutches. My bed was very comfortable with a nice view out on the courtyard. The kitchen has everything and there is a large lounge, sun/day room and dinning room...spacious, tidy and clean. Great value for money.

Nice place, has everything you need for a stay. In a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Very close to New World/ Countdown for food shops. Brett at reception was very friendly and welcoming. Comfy beds. Showers take a little while to heat up so it felt like I was wasting water but the hot water came through eventually. Would definitely recommend Duck & Drakes!

Walkable distance to Bowl of Brooklands was great. Close to supermarkets. Have stayed previously in a self contained unit, (which was good) but this time in the back packer side, Room was clean and airey, but the noise level was bad from other guests returning from concert and ,especially from 5 am with 2 or 3 groups leaving then, Ended up checking out at 6.30am too , Overall place was good but bathroom facilities for guests overdue for a upgrade, Would return again though.
