"My stay at this property was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Two major issues made the experience unacceptable and neither the hotel nor Expedia handled the situation professionally.
First, on the very first night, I was kept awake by a dog barking at an indecent hour (11:30pm). I contacted reception twice, only to be told the dog had been left unattended, despite the hotel’s own policy clearly stating that animals must not be left alone. The noise continued and no meaningful action was taken. This is a basic failure in enforcing their own rules and ensuring guest comfort.
Second, the room I paid for was advertised as having a king bed but what I received was two single beds pushed together. I raised this with reception and was told this configuration “counts as a king,” which is simply untrue. It was not what was sold on Expedia.
What made the situation worse was the poor customer service from both the hotel and Expedia. The hotel denied any responsibility and Expedia initially offered only a token goodwill gesture that didn’t reflect the seriousness of the issues. Between the policy breach, the misrepresented room and the lack of proper support, the experience fell far below acceptable standards.
I would not recommend this property and I am extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled by both the hotel and Expedia.
