"A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain.
Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. However it is understandable with being a busy pub with people with work boots and walking boots constantly in and out.
The food was good, with lots of choice and well cooked.
We had a slight blip checking in but it was sorted out quickly and efficiently.

"welcoming friendly staff, small choice of cask ale which is rotated every couple of weeks. Food was excellent as was breakfast. Ideal inn for a relaxing break

"Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks.
Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast.
All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond."

"The food was the main attraction, it was delicious.
The staff were great and welcoming.
The only niggle was the force of the hot water from the hot tap and the shower head. It was just a trickle from both."
