"The property was always neat and clean. The property staff paid attention to details and provided lots of helpful information about transportation, food options, and laundry services. The WiFi services were great and transportation stops were close by. Lovely and cozy guest house and the area around it."

It has a restaurant on site but when we went to eat there we were told it was closed because they had let in a large group and to come back at 9:30, when it would reopen. When we went back at 9:30, they were rather abrupt with us and said they took the last order at 9:35. They reluctantly let us in when we told them that was what we had been told. I am celiac and their Gluten free options were the poorest I had seen in the UK in 3 weeks. "

"We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. I stayed in a private room so cannot speak for the dorms, however, our room was satisfactory, cool and comfy.
I stayed only 1 quick night so wasn’t able to enjoy any activities besides sleeping, but they seem to have schedules of things going on in (or around?) the hostel.

"We had 2 very pleasant nights in a beautiful room here. The hostess was kind, helpful and offered us delicious breakfasts. We were able to leave our car parked across the street the whole time we were there. The neighborhood is quiet, just removed enough to be away from the crowds, but walkable to all Edinburgh’s main attractions. We were happy there and would recommend it to future guests. "
