"Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was full and delicious and hot. Parking was hard but not too difficult"
"I woke up in the middle of the night with about 100 ants next to my bed. But I can’t even tell the staff until 9 AM because there’s no staff at night. When I did finally get to the staff they only gave me one option, which is to stay in an ice cave themed room. Which does not sound appealing and let me tell you do not run that room. It is terrible. I wasn’t able to get a refund I wasn’t able to get out of my contract. They were gonna make me stay regardless of ants and regardless if I was comfortable, staying in the ice cave room or not. I would not recommend this hotel. It is a one to star 1 to 2 star hotel if that."
"Excellent stay, from the time we walked in.
My husband and I went to Andover for a wedding. One of our daughters was hoping to meet us there, work permitting, so I booked a room with a queen bed and a sleep sofa with a 3rd party (I travel a lot and have status with it). Our daughter did join us.
Vik is the person who checked us in. He was friendly, funny and informed us we had booked a wheelchair accessible room. I explained to him it was the only room online available with an extra bed. He jokingly scolded me and and said he would not let our daughter sleep on a sofa and changed our reservation to a double queen bed room. This was the start of a great stay, the room was spacious, clean, the beds comfortable, and my husband went down and enjoyed the breakfast.
We will definitely stay there again if in Andover, and hope Vik has a long and wonderful career with Double Tree, he is such an asset to the company, genuine, friendly, efficient, and definitely embodying the meaning of hospitality!"
