"This is the second of recent stays we have been in very dated rooms, first visit no hot water and this time the cold water tap on the bath didn't work at all! Spoke to manangement who said we should have called maintenance, however at 7.30am and with 2 dogs who would bark and wake other guests not a considerate option! should have worked in the first place! Manager did suggest he would contact me after we left but so far he has not! Not sure we will stay again now, very disappointing as we have stayed there many times in the past!"

"I stay here around once a month and it is a lovely hotel. Only negative is that if it is the lady on check in desk on an evening she has never been there to greet me once and I'm often stood waiting. The young gentleman however always provides a 5 star service"

"First of all booked a night away for valentines. Arrived to a rude male receptionist told us the spa was fully booked and could only use the next morning at 7am. We checked into the room which was so outdated. Radiator didn’t work so we was freezing, they did give us a portable heater. We then went down to the spa to have a look and asked if we could use it straight away said yes no problem. £15 each for evening use plus £10 each for robe and towel. Many other couples were turning up and booking straight on so can’t seem to understand why the reception is saying it’s fully booked when it wasn’t even busy. The spa.. wow. Unbelievable. I would come back just for the spa use. I do have to point out though the sun loungers were absoloutley filthy , was either mould or just pure dirt. The staff in the spa were lovely and friendly. We didn’t eat in the restaurants as the prices were just ridiculous so drove 5 minutes and got dominoes. Check out again unfriendly manner. Never asked if we enjoyed our stay or even a thank you. Will come again for the spa but not for the hotel. "
