"Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. "Pleasantly surprised for the price we payed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. Rooms clean and spacious. Although no tea and coffee facilities in the room. These were available in the reception area at no extra cost. I was able to park at the back of the hotel but parking is limited. Will definitely stay here again and recommend Cost of an uber was approx £6 to Newcastle town centre."

The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet.
