Really lovely stay, Dilston Mill is beautiful. Susan was really attentive. The breakfast was lovely too.

This lovely old mill has an interesting history. The location is excellent for hiking Hadrian’s Wall.

Beautiful setting with a garden beside a babbling stream. The owner was friendly and helpful. Lots to do in the area. Good eateries in Corbridge I think it should be mentioned that there is no TV. It didn't bother us though. Wifi reception for phones variable.

Great place, can't fault it on anything and the host was so welcoming which made a real difference. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone and will certainly stay there next time I'm in Corbridge.

Real Gem of a B&B

Excellent B & B with a great welcome by Susan. This was a great find and the garden has the "WOW" factor. Susan was a great host and we enjoyed our little daily chats. The way breakfast was prepared and placed in the fridge ready for us the following day was just perfect along with the little treats left by Susan for us each night. The other little touches which made it welcoming was Susan leaving a night light on for us when returning back to the room in the evening. Our only regret..... is that we didn't find this special place before now. Thank you for a great stay Susan!

Very quiet and private B&B.

Very quite situation, and private room with breakfast taken inside our own private room. Bed a little too soft and quilts had a slight musty smell. But very clean bathroom and Kitchenette.

Dilston Mill Paradise

A little bit of heaven. Large studio room with bath and large shower. Delicious cooked breakfast each morning from our wonderful host Susan. Easy walk into Corbridge. This is such a relaxing spot.

Fabulous!

Fabulous accommodation in a gorgeous setting on the outskirts of Corbridge. Very friendly host with lovely touches. We definitely want to book for next year!

Superb Old Stone Mill

Stunning location with lovely grounds down to the river. Walking distance into the old Roman Town of Corbridge as well as being an ideal base for visiting Hadrian's wall. Host Susan is a mind of information about the area and very thoughtful.

Superb Hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights as an additional break on our way to a weekend in Scotland. The location is superb, extremely comfortable and very quite. The service could not have been better and we will be definitely back at this venue for a longer stay in this area.

HIDDEN GEM

We have stayed in the Corbridge area many times over the past 10 years, but never knew of the existence of this hidden gem. the converted mill is set in an idyllic location next to Devil's Water, where birdsong and the sound of water tripping over the stones provides a soothing backdrop in this truly peaceful place. Susan is a mine of information about the local area and is the perfect hostess. She has provided so many thoughtful touches in the rooms, and her breakfast choices are extensive. We can thoroughly recommend her cooked breakfast, brought to the mini kitchen in the Suite. A wonderful selection of teas and coffee, as well as biscuits and a bowl of fresh fruit supplied were available for snacks, not to mention the shortbread and chocolate mint crisps. Wifi is excellent if you need to keep in touch, and not having a TV created a great opportunity to relax properly with no distractions. Susan has created a unique combination of B & B and Self-Catring, which we thoroughly enjoyed on our weekend stay. In fact, not sure we can wait for net year's fishing season in order to come back! Thank you very much Susan.

Lovely old mill in idyllic grounds

We enjoyed our 5 nights stay. The mill is in a beautiful location with lovely gardens right next to the river. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. We did know there was no TV, but the radio provided did not have good reception, so we were very glad we brought our own radio.

Beautiful location, superb host

We loved the location of Dilston Mill. The river setting was beautiful. The owner was a lovely lady. Very helpful. The breakfast was really nice and the kitchenette area was useful for tea and coffee whenever we wanted (all supplied). We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here.

Dilston Mill - Peace and Quiet

What a gem of a place! Feels away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet is only 2 miles from the nearest civilisation. Also the blessing of no television is an added bonus but there is free Wi Fi if you can't or must be in touch. The rooms were extremely clean and the continental breakfast was huge with good quality items such as smoked salmon, cream cheese and homemade preserves. The added bonus of the sight of a heron and kingfisher on the river made our stay special along with the warm welcome. Definately on our list of places to return to. Newcastle less than 20 miles away and there is a plethora of excellent pubs and restaurants in the area.
