"Let me say the hotel is ok, however for that money I now know we could have done much better. I had higher expectations as well, and well I was kind of disappointed. Our stay overall was ok. We asked to change rooms ( we paid extra for balcony access) and we were given a different room yes. Both rooms were connecting which is what I HATE! Cleaning stuff was ok, and when we were checking in they were great. Hotels elevator was not working a full day or 2 maybe- also verrrryyy slow elevator. No use of balcony and location for what we wanted was kind of off. I don’t know I was just not impressed. Rooms have so little room for storage and are small, bathrooms are also small and outdated. They were having breakfast options but for a charge and we did have breakfast multiple time and that was ok, but they don’t tell you or offer you anything. Underwhelming experience overall."

"When checking in the desk person was very rude. I was not explained to previously that there would be a $50 fee per night per room and we stayed 6 nights two rooms so like anybody I was quite shocked that they needed a $600 deposit that I didnt plan for. Other than that the stay was great. The other staff seems to be very kind and caring. Breakfast sucked. If you want meat you have to pay for it. Other than that you get muffins, bagels, yogurt , or cereal. The pool and hot tub was great. Staff checked on me multiple times. I loved I could text staff for help with anything."

"The floors could be cleaner. The floor got wet due to drying out our swimsuits. The towel they provide for the floor was soaked, so I used paper towels to clean up some of the water. When ai looked at the bottom of the paper towel, it was a brown & purple color due to residue. So a good cleaning has not happened for a while. Air conditioner worked great, bed was comfortable (had a good sleep each night, breakfast was ok. Pretty much the same food each morning (would alternate scrambled eggs one day & pre made omelets next day, plenty of parking, no safe in room, area seemed safe, overall was a descent stay because the price point was much more reasonable than other lodging in Destin area. Also close to Henderson Beach State Park; not overcrowded and awesome beach. One of the main reasons why we chose this hotel."

"Very disappointing experience overall. I booked three rooms months in advance for my son's graduation trip and was told our rooms would be together, but they were placed far apart across the property. The staff was unfriendly and seemed annoyed whenever we asked questions. The rooms themselves were in poor condition. We had issues with the shower, toilet, and door, all of which appeared to need repair. For the price paid, I expected much better maintenance and attention to detail. The only positive aspect of our stay was the property itself. The pools, grounds, and amenities were nice and well-kept. Unfortunately, the poor customer service and condition of the rooms overshadowed what could have been a great family vacation. I would not choose to stay here again. Oh and definitely don’t book third party, That seemed to be part of their initial issue with us."
