"While it was kind (and odd) to be upgraded but without access to the M Lounge, it really didn't matter. The staff working The Pillars were all superb - particularly Maressa who kindly helped me improve my Dutch language skills. As the other 'front of house' for the hotel they are an absolute credit and I hope are recognised as such.
The room was wonderful and we slept well followed up by an extensive range of breakfast choices to set you up for the day. I can recommend the cheese omelette.
The location just across from Centraal station was another benefit meaning we had time to explore more Rotterdam before finally catching the train home."
"The beds were very comfortable for my family and me. We slept well and my 12 yo loved the comfort of the pullout sofa. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with a beautiful view of the Koeien Veld Park. The best feature was the hotel’s location just steps from Den Haag Centraal station. We walked from the station to the hotel: no need for an Uber. Also, the hotel offered bike rentals which allowed us to explore the city on bike. We will definitely return to this hotel."
