"If you want an authentic old English Hotel then this is for you. It was really old with oak beams everywhere but still clean. Pub seems to be the Hub of the village so also a good vibe. The village is really really quiet"
"Lovely property that has been tastefully renovated over the past years. The gardens are beautiful and a lovely place to be on a sunny day. The hotel is small which gives it a very comfortable feel.
Service is a little haphazard. Lot of young staff that don’t have the experience to deliver the service you would associated with such a lovely traditional hotel. "
"My wife and I both greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very welcoming and made my wife, me and our dog feel very welcome from start to end of our trip! "
"The hotel was in great location, right in the sea front. Walkable distance to the station, shops, Pier and Theatres. The staff were friendly and the check in was quick and easy "
"Great place a little off the beaten track in beautiful countryside. Great breakfast
Only slight negative is that coffee in room and at breakfast could be stronger ( we are French!)"
"Unique old hotel . Bathroom very small for a deluxe room , only a double bed which we thought was odd for a deluxe room .
Nice toiletries and tea/coffee available. Bedding good quality. Very friendly staff .
Noisy location but was a main road so expected . Should have asked for a room at the back .
Would stay again , great location for Vinyards !"
