Good room. Great onsen. Average breakfast and no where to hang out. They completely underutilise a great space that could be for coffee or a bar by using it as a luggage store! So much more could be done with the hotel. Staff as ever in Japan were very courteous.
Ideal base for skiing in Grand Hirafu, with ski in/ski out access to the Ace Family Lift and location is walkable to a good variety of food, shopping and ski hire options, as well as the King Gondola and Hirafu Welcome Centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, and buffet breakfast hit the spot each morning. Onsen was lovely after a day on the slopes too! We loved the view from our room, watching people ski down the Family Run. Would stay again and highly recommend.
Love love love the welcoming and friendly staff at this hotel! They were super helpful with any questions we may have and offered to help make a call for rental pickup as we weren't able to make calls via our phones.
Great location, and convenient ski in ski out resort. The onsen is also not to be missed! Otherwise a pretty straightforward stay, no frills but what we were looking for for a week of skiing.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the friendly service provided by Ms. みずき and her colleague. Their warm and attentive demeanor made our stay more pleasant and enjoyable.
We had an amazing stay here! Breakfast was awesome, so many options and the omelette chef is so good! Beautiful view from the breakfast room of the ski run. Ski in ski out. Ski lockers for free for each room, easy to use.

Nice hotel but dated
Hotel was ok. Location good for walking around but carrying ski gear to gondola base daily is a pain.
Main annoyance was the barely warm water for showers each day. Not very pleasant after a long day skiing
Hotel overall quite dated.
Staff were friendly and professional as always in Japan

Very old property. Private onsen was nice. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff helps to call for cab to Kutchan station. Ski in and out is convenient.
Great ski in ski out location for Niseko Grand Hirafu. So convenient. Easy bus from Sapporo to the hirafu visitor center about a 5 minute walk away also. We loved the private onsen in our room. That turned out to be a highlight. Comfortable beds, clean room. The outside of the hotel looks a little rough. Needs a paint job but everything else was perfect!
Nice hotel with friendly staff.
Location ok for restaurants and shops but looong walk up to dot or gondola base with ski gear.
Lockers tucked away in depths of the hotel.
Water was barely warm enough to have a shower so that was a bad experience.
But otherwise clean, comfortable enough.
We stayed at a nice traditional room with private oncen. Good size and very comfortable (more than expected) and in great condition. Loved the ski in - ski out experience. Local hotel staff very friendly. The breakfast buffet included many options for most tastes. The hotel also has a public onsen available to guests looking for a more authentic experience.

Staffs are very friendly and very helpful.
Major problem is the hotel doesn't offer shuttle to the welcome center where the bus station is. That means you need to carry all your skis, luggage and a 10 minutes walk up the hill on the snow to the bus station. No taxi would come because it's only a few minutes drive.

We had a western room for December (final week of early season). It was cold. No idea whether it was just my room or the central air-conditioning/heater is down. The in-room heater was not sufficient to warm the room. Asked for different room but they said they are full booked. Booked this property in July, so I was rather disappointed to be given such room. Front counter gave us a portable heater. That did the work but that thing was constantly in the middle of the room so that we don’t sleep cold.
The onsen toilet is yucks. It reeks of urine smell. It’s horrible. And no slippers provided for the toilet….whenever I step into the toilet, it feels like I am stepping on pee stain then I walk all around the changing room. The hotel need to clean the toilet hourly or if not allow the patrons to wear slippers in the changing room. Oh and they don’t provide housekeeping daily. It’s every 3 days.
The plus point is, this hotel is near amenities and food. Less than 10mins walk to seicomart and other food options.
