"The guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous and in a stunning part of Japan. We rented a car in Matsumoto and used the guesthouse as a base for visiting Kamikochi. The hotel is bright and cheery. The rooms are a generous size. The futons comfortable. Perhaps the best thing of all was the private onsen. ..."

We booked it via Expedia for 3 adults and one15 yrs old, but it was appare fly a triple room so they charged us for an extra adult even though there was not really sleep space for 4 people.
