Not my happy place

We had booked a non smoking room as I am allergic to cigarette smoke. Upon arrival he said he gave us a smoking room as the motel was booked. I told him no that wasn't acceptable so he told me I would have to pay as I hadn't cancelled in time. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. Lucky for us another couple heard the problem and agreed to switch rooms. The cleaner they use in the rooms is far too strong and gave us all headaches. (Our family had booked 6 rooms) We are allergic to scents and this was overwhelming. Our room/bed wasn't made in between nights and we didn't even get clean mugs or coffee for the second day. The room itself was fine - not fancy but adequate.

The hospitality was certainly unique. The owners were very pleasant and welcoming. (She) actually gave my sister and i each a beautiful hand-crafted gift during our registration. I will definitely stay here again.

Bed was brutal. AC is noisy. Rust on the towel rack. The tub was pink and about 2" lower than the floor when you step into it. Stayed 2 nights...bed was not made, no fresh shampoo...terrible

good value for the money

Room was worth the money, but there was an overpower perfume smell that lingered the entire night. I'm not sure if it was cleaning product or just a deodorizer applied after cleaning, but it was much too much.
