The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the significant drawbacks of our very tiny room: the bed was a super uncomfortable big marshmallow (we didn't sleep well during our entire visit); the walls were embarrassingly thin; and it was dark...

"The Chatham Motel far exceeded our expectations. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The grounds are lovely for sitting outside or by the pool. The staff can be seen cleaning the pool furniture, the water itself, and replacing towels throughout the day. It makes it very easy to cool off in the pool. The rooms are large and comfortable. You can walk to several places for food or coffee and the walk to the
