"The lady on reception named Michelle was very polite and helpful. I had stayed in a certain room the previous month and asked if I could be allocated the same room on this occasion. What i found different from other hotels was Michelle interacted in conversation, i was not treat as a booking but as a person, the room i previously had was available and was duly allocated to me. "Nice public rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff. Plenty of parking £10 for 24 hours and also some free parking on the road if you can get a space. Easy walking to the centre, railway station and cinema. Our classic room was generally good but let down by the bathroom which is dated and could do with refurbishing. Only shower gel provided so take your own toiletries and no bottle of water. Plenty tea and coffee and a couple of biscuits. Bed was comfortable"

"Very average hotel, rooms are rundown and not very clean. Staff were disinterested and refused to honour our approved parking booking, they said you have to phone the hotel to book parking even though this was requested and approved online."
