"Nice, clean room and great breakfast!"

"s a traveler, I specifically chose this hotel hoping to get a good night’s sleep near the highway before a long drive. Sadly, it was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in recent years. The room smelled unpleasant, and the odor extended to the towels and bedding. Cleanliness appeared acceptable visually, but the smell made everything feel unclean. "Check-in was simple, front desk staff was kind and offered recommendations when asked. Room was clean, housekeeping is offered daily which was nice, especially traveling with a dog! Breakfast buffet had plenty of tasteful options. Restaurant, Mulligans, on site was nice for dinner without leaving the property. Gym is small and does not have free weights, but does have a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and cable machine."

"Undisclosed pet fees on Expedia. Pet fees inconsistent between first and second stays. Only grassy area (I get it, it's in New Mexico so not a lot of grass) was signed to keep pets off. Parking lot needs resurfacing; otherwise, it's difficult to push/pull luggage carts. We won't stay here again."

"Live the history of the Plaza Hitel. Very nice they kept it as original as possible. Didn't like that the coffee shop wasn't open on Monday and Tuesdays. And the restaurant was not open at times."

"This is more a review about La Quinta as a franchise instead of one single location. The recent change made to their WiFi options is terrible. To receive free WiFi, you must create a Wyndham account (which I didn’t want), but when trying to use said account for verification to access the WiFi, I could not get past the authentication page. "convenient and close to dining"

"Unfortunately, the blue "Lodging" sign on the expressway did not have their icon. I saw the hotel sign from the expressway but it was cracked and decaying so I figured the hotel had been moved. I drove passed the exit because of these two things. Attendant at front desk told me a new sign was on the way. Otherwise, everything was fine."
