"The hotel was situated in a perfect spot, we went in August, and the place is walkable across town. The hotel was nice and welcoming.
Very nice atmosphere in the evenings, with the entertainment dances, kids loved it.
Overall the food was good too.

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day.
This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"Great little hotel. Staff were fantastic. Bang in the middle of the old town but the glazing was good so we got to sleep OK. We parked at the town hall multi storey which was busy but not expensive, and only a five minute walk away.

"I travelled with my family, including 2 kids, around France. This was my son's favorite hotel out of the 3. It was great having a separate room/space for the kids.
