"We were just looking for an "airport hotel" with a free shuttle to and from the airport. We were pleasantly surprised that this was actually a nice spotlessly clean pleasant little hotel with a nice restaurant"

"The Athens Tower Hotel is located in the center of historical Athens, right where most tourists want to be. There are literally hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and the hotel is right on one of the main squares. We had a room on the fifth floor with a gorgeous view of Acropolis that looked just like a postcard. It's also right across the street from the Metro, making it easy to get to other parts of town. Pros: *Location, location, location! *Staff was super friendly, helpful and cheerful *Breakfast was included and had lots of options so even a picky eater could find something to eat *Restaurant upstairs had good food for dinner (not included with room) *The bathroom was HUGE and beautiful. The shower had one of those rainfall shower heads and great water pressure. Cons: *Noise! Both external and internal. There's road noise. There's noise on the Square. And since we were on the 5th floor, we got the noise from the bar/restaurant on the sixth & seventh floors. Lots of drums/bass. *Fragrances: Apparently they're really into aromatherapy. They had two machines in the hallway that sprayed fragrance into the air hourly. And when they cleaned the rooms, they sprayed fragrance there too. They shut them off for me when I explained about my severe asthma but it was still a lot. I'm glad we stayed there for our first visit to Athens. I recommend it (if fragrances won't trigger your allergies) but I probably won't stay there again."

"Amazing ocean view and friendly staff. Loved the breakfast buffet and coffee station. Would highly recommend for relaxing on the sea front while being really close to Athens."

"My wife, son and I booked the junior suite both prior to and after a cruise that left from the port of Athens. We stayed in room 900 which is a newly renovated room located on the top floor of the hotel adjacent to the infinity pool. The Stanley is a newly renovated historic hotel located in central Athens. There is a subway station as well as hop on hop off tourist bus directly outside. Easy cheap access to tourist spots, airport, port. This is the only Junior suite in the hotel, and its location offers views of the Parthenon in the distance as well as sweeping views of the city. The room has been newly renovated and is tiled throughout with plenty of storage and a very comfortable bed and pullout sofa. There is a narrow balcony with glass railings as well as a large private patio area accessed through a sliding door. The bathroom is very large and well-appointed with a large glassed-in shower. We were impressed by the welcome bottle of wine on ice and fruit tray as well as the free stocked mini bar. The room included a full hot breakfast which is served in the roof top restaurant. The breakfast buffet was amazing and included Greek specialties, North American foods and specialty coffees. The restaurant has plenty of seating as well as a great balcony. From 4-7 there is a "happy hour" for suite guests in the mezzanine lounge that includes beer and wine and light snacks. Was a great way to wind down from the day! The staff throughout were amazing- Great stay! "

"The bar and the restaurant were fantastic when we were there! The bar and wait staff was excellent and great to talk to and the food was good. The room was comfortable for the short amount of time there. Great location for the airport and a nice shuttle to and from the airport. "
