"This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Had to deal with a handful of flies on arrival that were stuck inside or dead but there was a lil vacuum so not a big deal. "

"Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6 1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. "Excellent central location close to the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Comfy lounge area and beds. Perfect apartment for a short stay, really enjoyed staying here and the close proximity to all amenities. Really appreciated the earlier check in as our flight arrived in the morning and we were able to get into the apartment from midday which was great. I’m hoping to revisit Akureyri and will definitely be looking to book Saga Apartments again! Thanks...
