Unfortunately one of the rooms we were allocated (even though they were the same price) was located at the back of building looking into a hill and was very dark. "Location is great. Issue with Expedia listing, lake view is not really a full lake view like on the photos. The view is reality is once your outside on the small balcony poke half your body out, you have a very small side view. Could have booked anywhere else for the price per night."

"North Sydney Hotel was perfect for us! It was only a 1km walk to the US Consulate, the room was cute, the rain shower was perfect and the common room for breakfast was a nice touch. I only wished we could have stayed a lil longer to enjoy the pub and restaurant downstairs. It's in a great central location with easy access to trains."

"It was a pleasant experience at the Lakeside hotel. The room was spacious and valet with all the amenities at easy reach. There was a rattly mixer at the basin, which the staff were more than happy to attend to, but I told them that they can do so after my stay. Similarly, there were spots on the pillows but the pillows were not smelly or unpleasant to sleep on. Clean crisp sheets and a front room area for wet items. During the stormy season.
