"First time in Virginia Beach. The Schooner Inn is so well situated to enjoy the beach, boardwalk and local restaurants. Try the chef's burger at Big Sam's Inlet Cafe. The staff at the Schooner Inn was so helpful. The view of the sunrise, surfers, swimmers, walkers, bikers, and boats from my window and balcony never ceased to please."

"I am in VA Beach once every September for the air show but I do not have a go-to place. I do try to stay on the beach searching by price and amenities. I really enjoyed my stay and the greatest compliment I can give is that I plan to stay here again next September."

"I stayed for 4 nights at the Founders Inn. It was very quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the TV worked great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Dining in the Swan Terrace was interesting, I would have appreciated a chilled bottle of white wine instead of warm - so maybe they need to make sure they have chilled bottles on hand. Wait staff was apologetic, but I was stuck paying for a warm bottle of wine in the end. Overall, very nice experience."
