Excellent onsen hotel right at the end of the first day of the Kohechi Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail. I came for the onsen and mountain seclusion, but they had such good maps of the Kohechi at the front desk that I decided to walk back to Koyasan the day I checked out. Absolutely a superb experience here. The room was stunning and the food top notch. There is clearly so much care and attention here. It was lovely to be able to attend the morning ceremony as well. Highly recommend it. I'll be coming back for sure.
