We loved the view! River felt an arms-length away. Watching the sun go down over the river was was sublime. Bed was comfy, place was spectacularly located… and morning breakfast overlooking the river was spectacular. We’ll be back!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Really lovely spot, with an enchanting main lodge and really great staff. The rooms are extremely basic, but clean and exactly what you would expect. You go there for the view, proximity to the great Little town. I was a bit disappointed that the dining room was close the night I was there, but the local pizzeria was excellent.
Lovely location. Staff were friendly and professional. Our room could use a makeover but was fine. The railing up needed replacing. Auberge is quaint with a very good restaurant.
Many basics missing such as coffee pot, refrigerator, AC. Was a hot humid night and hard to sleep. Views however were beautiful and other guests friendly.
Four of us stayed here for one night on our way back home from the maritimes.
The rooms/washrooms are not big but they were clean and had what was necessary.
We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was good but the menu was a little eccentric (would not appeal to regular meat and potato eaters). There were no salads on the menu. The oysters were very good. Two of our plates were "lukewarm" when they arrived so we returned them and they came back pretty much the same. Presentation was nice though. The steak was "so so" and portion was small for the price. The classic breakfast was great with potatoes (which we were told was not available at dinner the night before), salad (which was not available at dinner either), eggs, toast, bacon and ham.
very romantic and awesome views right on the water
stayed in a ground level room and had the patio doors open up to the St.Lawrence river. what a spectacular view, smell and sounds.
the room is large and clean but could be modernised. i liked the kichenette though.
Room is loud, you hear the musique, next rooms, everything. Better sleep with earplugs. But the place is beautiful and also the view. The restaurant is amazing.
We were greeted by welcoming staff? Nice lobby with some common areas and a restaurant in the main lodge. The rooms have nice beds with cotton sheets and some antique furniture, but old carpets and blank walls, one sliding door with a view of the parking lot and the St. Lawrence River. The rooms in the newer motel face the water and all have a larger patio or balcony for a higher price. It's a charming hotel on the water with Adirondack chairs facing the river.
I like the location on the water. Very relaxing. The rooms are in the old style, I was hoping to have a small fridge in the room as the weather was very hot. No air conditioning
If you stay on the second floor of the motel, you literally are looking out to the St Lawrence river. The whole things look like you are on a cruiseship.
The rooms are modern looking with all the amenities.
Chef Guillaume LePage is at April Resto in the Auberge. He is doing amazing things with the menu. Dverything is tasteful. I can go on znd on. THANK YOU
At first glance the Inn had great curb appeal, and who could fault the view of the St Lawrence! The receptionist was really welcoming and ourselves being non French speaking as able to help us in what was needed. Our room had a great view and the bed really comfortable. I like that the furniture was antique looking and made the room feel like your own bedroom. The street it is on is pretty quite and I had a great walk to see the restoration of the water front that is happening. The properties are beautiful and the area well kept. We had dinner and breakfast in the Inn, excellent food and excellent service. Out server was great at helping us through the menu and overall we would not hesitate in returning.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room with the patio is worth it for the view alone. But we arrived on a Monday and their restaurant is closed so we had to drive to town. Not a huge deal bc we found amazing local pizza place and a salad from IGA to sit on our deck and watch the sunset.
Beds were fine & the space was adequate for what we needed. Note - they don’t have great toiletries so make sure I have ur own!
Also absolutely no early access - we popped by just to check and the front desk staff were very clear that we couldn’t have access to the room until 4pm.

Disliked: Amenities
Standard value motel. The room had a nice balcony and view. The cleanliness was standard. Originally I had booked for a room with bath and shower, but due to an issue with their reservation system, we received one with a shower only. I didn’t bother to contest this the next day. The restaurant was quite overpriced for the quality of the cuisine, although the use of local ingredients was nice. The serving staff was friendly, although I speak French. I am unsure how my experience would have been if I were a tourist who did not. (However one of the staff, a young server at the restaurant, did offer to speak to us in English if we desired, which was refreshing as a customer of the motel). However, apart from that the stay was ok.
