"Large comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good value for Hakone. Hotel is dated and needs a renovation but very clean and everything in room was in good working order. A bit removed from nearby town of Gora leaving either a 15-20 minute mountain walk or a local bus. Walk is downhill to town but a relatively challenging uphill walk back to hotel. Didn’t try restaurant at hotel. Had a room package only and strangely they offered no information on menu or pricing for their restaurant. "

"I recently stayed at Birupaku l in Shizuoka, and it was a fantastic experience! The location was very central, making it easy to explore the area. Lots of shops and restaurants around. The parking was included, which was a major plus, and it was conveniently close to the property. The apartment itself was spotless, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
