"During my stay, my wallet went missing from my hotel room. I had left it on the desk because shops were closed on polling day. When I returned to my room later that day, the wallet was no longer there.
CCTV footage confirmed that I had taken my wallet into the room the previous night. This means it disappeared while it was outside the room.
When I reported the issue, the manager (LP) said he was “not able to help” and refused to provide records showing who had entered my room while I was out. I also had to ask the reception five times before I was finally able to speak with him, as he was not present at the hotel during working hours.
As a result, I lost $100 in cash and two important credit cards. Unfortunately, the hotel management did not offer any assistance, explanation, or gesture of goodwill to help ease the stress caused by this situation.
I was very disappointed with how this matter was handled and expected a more responsible and supportive response from the hotel management."
