"The staff is exceptional! They truly want you to love your stay here and come back again. The negative? Although it was very clean in our cabin the tub surround was moldy and really needed some fresh caulking. The tub itself and toilet needed scrubbing and bleach. Guests are required to do their own dishes or will be charged $50. So what happens unfortunately is really shoddy dish dishwashing. It’s clearly is done hastily to avoid the fee by previous guests. Thus, dishes, glasses, etc. I’ll need wash washing before you can use them as well as after. Next complaint is that our cabin Eagle’s Nest was advertised as being lake view, and mostly it is, unfortunately a ginormous smelly dumpster is in front of the cabin.
We will return because the property is beautiful, but some details truly need attention. Also, there is a big gap under the front door that creates quite a draft. Guests from two years ago noted this in the guest book, but it still has not been taken care of. Beautiful lake and beautiful property will keep us coming back."
