Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Upon arrival there was yellow tape thought out the building. Once I went to my room. You could see that the lock was broken. I was not able to lock it from the inside. Also you could see light entering into the room from the lock and the room smelled. I walked back into the lobby area and entered the swimming pool, I noticed the pool water and hot tub was dirty. It was black. Then I walked outside of the building to get to the back. It was disgusting. I was hungry but I chose not to eat there. The place were they prepare the food looked unsanitary. I even heard staff apologizing to another guess due to them having to wait on their food a long time. So, I left to go get food elsewhere. While I was out I happen to find another room at the Monte Carlos hotel across the street from the city hall. Then I went back for my bags. Once I obtained my bags. I went to check out. (After I took pictures) when checking out I was told I will not get a refund and I should have called maintenance to fix the door. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the towels were dirty and the tub was rusted.
