"There's a lot of work going on at the moment so be aware of construction noise. Only stayed one night but it was bizarre. They have recently changed the room numbers but haven't altered the signs to direct you to them. There are no lifts and a fair few stairs if have heavy luggage. The workmen severed the wifi cable and after having already unpacked, was moved to the other side of the hotel to get a connection. This room was much better than the dated one on the other side but the sliding bathroom door wouldn't close. Lots of little new renovation niggles for them. The building is also a bit of a maze so get your bearings. The staff were very friendly and it's in a handy spot just off the main through road. The town is just a few minutes drive away. The room was clean and tidy. They don't skimp on the heating either. Bed was very comfy. Just visited at a bad time I think."
"Oh my goodness! This was the most amazing little place. The floors were heated. The room was very modern. It had a Nespresso machine. The kitchen was super well stocked. The bathroom had everything you would want and the products smelled amazing! I wish we weee staying in that hotel our entire visit to NZ! Loved it. Sadly we simply stopped there for a night from Lake Tekapo toward Wanaka after hiking around Mount Cook. Fabulous stay. Thank you."
"Lodging at this hotel felt less like checking into transient housing and more like experiencing the advantages of a meticulously administered private home. The overall design provided an idiosyncratic duality: the front façade presented a warm classic charm, while the rear opened up to sweeping, that framed the landscape well. However, the true magic lay in the gardens. It wasn't just landscaping; it was a living storybook. With its winding, moss-draped paths, rolling green hills, and clusters of ancient, gnarled trees, the grounds possessed an ethereal quality where one could easily imagine Hobbits tending their vegetable patches or smoking a pipe on a sun-drenched porch. This is also a means to visit Mt Cook and vicinity on a budget."
"Absolutely Lovely Family Run Boutique Hotel The family are lovely and could not be more helpful!

Beautiful!"
"The house itself is fantastic with great views. We were arriving late and had a hard time communicating with the hosts (via phone or email). Also, there was no sugar or coffee in the kitchen and the only store in town closed before we got there :(."
