Our overnight stay was primarily for a group tour at Fallingwater. Our short visit in Ohiopyle gave us an in-person preview of what we can do to explore more next time: hiking trails and bicycling opportunities.

One thing to know- everything in the town closes early, like 7, or if it rains! We were going to go for ice cream. Everything was supposed to close at 7 but was already shut down by like 6:50 because it was raining!

Fantastic area for outdoor enthusiasts. Biking on the GAP is within a block of the hotel as are several of the rafting outfitter shops.
The hottest months are usually July and August, with an average temperature of 19°C, while the coldest months are January and February, with an average of 0°C. The snowiest months in Ohiopyle are January, December, February and May, with each month seeing an average of 79 cm of snowfall.
