"We stay here at least once a year on our way to Big Sur. In theoast we have always had the room facing the courtyard and its perfect. This time the room faces the parking lot and street and it was very noisy all night. Still a charming place with beautiful courtyard and friendly staff. "

"The front desk staff was polite and helpful. I arrived before my check in time and was able to check into my room. My room was nice and clean and the view of the ocean was beautiful. The property was clean as well. Friendly staff! I would stay here again. "

"Parking was closed off the secondary exist. Only one was in and out. The room had a stench like they used dirty polluted water or something to clean everything. The bathroom had an initial weird smell as well. The TV setup is at least 10-15 years old, but I assume they do not want to upgrade anything because they would have to charge more per night to "justify" the cost. The mattresses were exctremely thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. Again, you get what you pay for. Theres no way you can justify $140 per night rate, but this is Ventura so it is what it is. "

"Night stuff was awesome. The morning ones, well they were very racist towards us. They need more people personal. We’re just passing through as tourists .. hotel room we’re disgusting. But like I said we’re just passing through.."

"Room was clean, friendly staff at front desk and dining area for breakfast. Free parking! Walking distance to beach and great restaurants 😊"

"The hotel is a mix of updated and outdated. There was water damage to the bathroom cabinet, a dated bath/shower enclosure, rust on metal fixtures, bedside lamps that were starting to fall off the wall, blinds that were were starting to wear, and single-pane windows to the front of the building/ parking and hwy noise. Then the bed, drawers, and ocean facing window were clearly updated and replaced not as long ago. Breakfast was very basic and included few warm options, besides toast and bagels. The rooms do not have water kettles or coffee, so you have to access this during breakfast hours. Overall, it was lovely to have such a view and I am not sure I would stay again anytime soon."
