Die Villa punktet durch die Aussicht und das hat sich auch der Erbauer vor vielleicht 40…Jahren gedacht. Die Einrichtung wirkt etwas verstaubt und das in den Jahren kaputt gegangene wurde durch Ikea ersetzt. Das Personal aus Südamerika ist super freundlich und zu manchem Spässchen aufgelegt.

Terrible Accommodation

Beautiful location and view. Friendly staff but TERRIBLE room conditions. After checking in and being inside the room for a few minutes, a strong sulfur/sewage smell started bothering us and it only got stronger as time passed. We tried to ignore and sat in the balcony for a little but also can’t do that because there is a lot of mosquitoes. I went to speak with the staff about the situation, at first they acted strange like they didn’t know what I was talking about and something like that wasn’t possible. But, then it became obvious that they knew exactly what it was as it happens often as they try to blame it on the fact that the property is in a mountain. They try to mask the smell with bleach in the bathroom, offer candles and opened the windows(only letting mosquitoes inside the room!) all of these didn’t solve the issue. The smell was so terrible, I ask to change rooms or do something else but the said that the property was booked and it wasn’t a possibility(it’s supposed to have 9 rooms and I only saw 3 guests). It was so late and we were so tired from all the traveling that we decided to let it be and just leave early next day. In the morning I was so looking forward to shower and take the stink off but there was no toiletries and after the shower when I went to dry myself the towels stunk!!!! So bad and were hard as a rock... disgusting. Such a terrible experience. Nice people working in the property but terrible confort and accommodation.

Maison d’hôte très agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire , on s’y sent comme chez soi, pas loin du centre de Marbella et des plages en voiture .Accueil aux petits soin , Petit déjeuner excellent tout fait maison .

What a lovely place we were made to feel so welcome. The views are amazing and the room was comfortable and quiet. It really is a home from home and the dinner and breakfast was wonderful. We will be back.

Fijne vakantie

The Urban Villa is een prettig hotel om te verblijven. Het enige nadeel is dat het erg afgelegen ligt en je echt een auto nodig hebt. Maar het ligt ook zo dat he een geweldig uitzicht hebt. Wij hebben Linda niet gezien of gesproken maar haar personeel vooral Johanna geeft je een heel bijzonder hartelijk welkom en ze doen er alles voor om het naar je zin te maken. Dus onze complimenten voor het personeel.

Un coin de paradis dans les montagnes de Marbella

Après un long vol transatlantique, nous sommes arrivés à travers un chemin sinueux dans les montagnes près de Ojén à la Urban Villa. C'est une petite villa de cinq chambres qui accueillent ses clients comme s'ils arrivaient chez eux. La villa dispose d'un salon et d'une salle à manger combinés à l'allure chaleureuse. Si on le veut, on nous offre de nous préparer à souper, mais attention, ce n'est pas un restaurant. À notre demande, on nous sert un souper et un déjeuner comme si on était chez soi. Yoana, une employée fort dévouée, nous a accueillis avec bonne humeur et dévouement. Elle était là pour répondre à toutes nos questions et nous faire faire le tour de la propriétaire. Linda, la propriétaire, est venue nous saluer et jaser avec nous à quelques reprises. La vue sur la Méditerranée est imprenable de là-haut! C'était un endroit fort confortable pour nous reposer après notre vol et reprendre notre souffle pour poursuivre notre séjour.

Our stay at Urban villa

We had a great stay at Urban Villa, it is in a stunning location with amazing views. It is relaxed and friendly. We stayed in Linda which was the only room available for our dates. It is on the small side but had character and everything we needed including a big shower. we had dinner at the villa on a couple of occasions and the food was really lovely, we were able to sit out on the verandha in November!Sunny is a very good cook. Just a couple of points to mention: Urban villa is not easy to find in the dark. Long hanging space would be appreciated in the Linda room for dresses. we would have expected a change of sheets for a 5 night stay It is helpful to know when dinner is not available, perhaps the day before. All in all we enjoyed our stay and Linda is a lovely host and very knowledgeable about the area

Första dagen på en 10 dgrs semester, vi vill "komma ner" & landa mentalt därav valet på Urban Villa. Det var helt otroligt bra! Allt top notch! Den egna terassen i vår svit ( King Romance) är himmelriket! Rekommenderar detta ställe till 100%.

Warmest recommendations

A really nice place, with wonderful staff. Marvellous views over East Marbella. Spacious rooms and really good service. I warmly recommend this hotel, both for families and couples. There is only one "but", and that is to reach the hotel you need to have a car.
