Hotel Posada Destiladeros

"Hotel is a little rundown but they were making repairs. Our room was comfortable AC worked great, breakfast was nice and the pool was wonderful. The staff was kind and helpful but services were only available if you asked. For example; website says daily housekeeping. When we asked why our room wasn’t cleaned they said we didn’t ask for it. We had the only key to the room so they couldn’t clean unless we gave them the key. We couldn’t check in because they didn’t have power in the office. They asked us every day to go check in but when we tried they said “later”. We ended up checking in and out on the same day. (Not a problem for us.) They couldn’t provide a printout of charges. Sweet people but the place is a bit disorganized. We enjoyed our time there because it was quiet and peaceful. Very few people were there which we liked. We live in Panama so we’re use to things very relaxed and off beat. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with lots of services this isn’t it. If you want beauty, peace and quiet among friendly staff in a beautiful setting and don’t mind quirky and rustic THIS IS IT! This met our expectations so we will be back!"

"We stayed at the Condos, very clean, spacious, well mantained, comfortable. A little too far from the main hotel and restaurant, i recommend to have a car if staying there. Staff VERY nice and helpful."

"My husband and I couldn't have a better experience. This place has all you need to rest, relax and enjoy yourself. The place is well mantain, the hosts are so friendly and courteous, it felt like home. My husband and I had stay in many places but this one surpassed all. I loved their eco-friendly system, and the place is centric to all beaches in the area."

"El Ranchito Surf Camp. Well, there's not much 'camp' about it. Beautifully landscaped grounds and accommodations. When you have Jiani as a stellar chef and Lorenzo as the perfect surf instructor/fitness coach (nice gym and even better instruction)....well check all the boxes for El Ranchito. Very accommodating hosts, that get you to and on the surf. Nicely sculpted beach break, rights and lefts, only 100 yards to the outside sets (solid 6'+ face). A very memorable and fun experience."
