"The view is fantastic, and the management is very professional and helpful before, during and after your stay. Also, the yard in front is big and has a lot of toys and equipment for kids and family to use. The one thing I would take note of is that you cannot control the room heat on your own, because it is a pension and not a hotel. "Exceptional, peaceful sanctuary with view of the lake. Very clean. Nice deco. Pristine condition. 3 min walk to emart. No eateries nearby. Roads are not v walkable as there is no pedestrain walkway. Few street lights at night. Cabs easily available with Kakao T app. The lady who checked us in was v kind, helpful and caring. Speaks very good English. Enjoyed our stay. Will come again in autumn. Take note there are no elevators but staff offered to help with our luggages."
"I had to scurry and find a hotel in Seoul. I found Hotel the May and will definitely be back. Property is gorgeous, staff is amicable and helpful and the surrounding area has multiple restaurants. Try catch it at 1230pm (or even earlier for seats) to catch the shuttle bus(location to wait @ see 1st photo) to the village otherwise cabbing there is approx. 30,000 won. The bus ride approx. 1 hr, and wait for shuttle...
"We were doing a really long bike ride through South Korea and this hotel was right off the bike path. Super sweet staff, close to restaurants and convenience stores, and room was really big. Had a bed and traditional Korean Yo Beds too.
