The check in was a nightmare, staff did not seem to know that I booked 2 rooms and the computer check in did not help. wanted to do laundry that's why I booked this hotel, but there were only 2 washer/dryer machines in the hotel and there were long ques for them so we had to wake up at 5am to do ...

SuperHotel Saitama Kawagoe
Clean room. Good staff. However, only 1 elevator so takes time to access and there is no non emergency stairs as an alternative.

KT1 Mori no Kabe Tokyo
15 minute walk from train station. 3 bedrooms with lots of extra spaces for the kids. Heat pumps in all rooms and a gift basket of snacks and drinks upon arrival. It was a great base to explore Tama and Sanrio Puroland. Great communication and instructions for absolutely everything in English.

Best room in Kawagoe
Comfortable, clean, easy, owner of apartment was more accommodating than was expected. Kawagoe area is good. Matoba station near Nagatoro and Chichibu and not too far from Ikebukurou.
