"As a first-timer staying at this hotel, I can tell you that it was amazing in every single way. I only took off one star on amenities because the ice machine wasn't working at all and the bar was not open after Monday (which was Labor Day). Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate with a great view of the river, and I got to watch a beautiful sunrise from my comfortable bed every morning. My brother and I were on our annual sibling vacation ... fishing, relaxing, going to the beach ... and it was one of the best ones we've had so far. We pretty much had the place to ourselves since it was Labor Day week, and we enjoyed fishing from the many docks at the hotel, swimming in the beautiful pool, and spending so much time on the beach directly across the street from the hotel shelling and surf fishing at all hours of the day and night. We also went deep sea fishing with Captain Ron's Fishermen and highly recommend them. On our last day there, I told them how much I didn't want to leave since checkout was 11:00 am, and they let me stay parked there while I enjoyed the beach and pool until 5:00 pm. Absolutely perfect!"
