"Einfaches, aber sauberes Appartement. Günstig gelegen, 500m bis zum Hafen und 500m bis zum Strand. Die Inhaberin und das Servicepersonal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher. Jederzeit gerne wieder."

"We loved our stay here the front desk staff was helpful especially with navigating the bus routes! Our room was beautiful. There was easy access to a very nice beach. There were a couple restaurant options within walking distance on the beach. It’s about at 20 minute walk to old town Skiathos or a quick bus route from stop 5 to stop 0. Breakfast was okay for a breakfast buffet."

"Staff was very friendly and view from our small but clean, comfortable room was amazing! The downside is that you have to haul your luggage up an old stone walkway and staircase to check in at The Water hotel. Unfortunately, our bags were 50 lbs (23kg) each. Luckily, a staffer offered to take them the rest of the way to our room at The Rock, which is more old stone stairs up to an old stone walkway away. There are no elevators. Thank goodness for Alberto!"

"This is our 2nd visit to the hotel. Maria, Dimitri, George, Alexandros, these our the hotels staff that make you feel like family. They went out of their way to make our stay seamless. Breakfast was a nice variety and delicious. Centrally located to downtown. Best place ever….book your stay here "

"Amazing staff who were very pleasant and happy to help. We were picked up from the airport by Diamond (not sure if that’s spelt correctly) who drove us straight to the hotel. We had a gorgeous town view, which was breathtaking. The room was well equipped and exactly as described. Breakfast was basic but plentiful and tasty and was taken on the roof terrace, which had equally lovely views. Much recommended for a short stay in Skiathos town."

"We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. John was absolutely amazing and very easy to reach, he helped set up an airport transfer for when we got to the island, gave us recommendations on places to eat and see on the island, and was easy to reach had we needed anything at all. Our plane didn’t land on the island until 11 pm and we had no issues with finding our room on arrival or checking in so late.
