"The property was clean, brand new, and very well maintained. Communication with the host was smooth and easy throughout our stay. However, the room was extremely dark. There was only one glass door/window, which let in very little natural light during the day, so we had to keep the lights on. There was also a small window above it that could not be closed, which let in quite a lot of light early in the morning and could be disturbing when waking up. It might be worth considering installing a small blind or shutter on this window to make the room darker in the morning. There was also no Wi-Fi, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the outdoor area. On the positive side, the location was excellent, just a few steps away from the centre of Ragusa Ibla, which was very convenient. Thank you for the stay!"

"We loved the Hotel Giardino sul Duomo! Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night. The service was excellent. The place was beautiful, with a pretty garden, a pool, and spectacular views of Ragusa. The breakfast was very good."

"Perfect location, being walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops, main piazza and local attractions. A gorgeous old building with massive rooms and ours was a very comfy bed and everything we needed (room 2). It was so quiet - we slept like babies 😊. The little shuttle bus that takes you to Ragusa Superior and the main bus station is only a 2 minute walk. The town is very walkable and absolutely stunning with fantastic restaurants and many local artists offering beautiful crafts (no Chinese knock offs here 🙌). The staff were amazing with prior communication and advice of the local area and offered a delicious simple daily breakfast, they were always available but never obtrusive. Don’t miss eating at That’s Amoro - delicious authentic food (loads of GF options also) and a 2 minute walk away. We will be back and will absolutely stay here again."

"The room was outstanding and our doors opened up to the terrace that overlooked the Duomo. In the mornings this is where the extra special breakfast was served. Local pies with vegetables, salami, cheese and fresh fruit. If you like gran ok and yoghurt this was also available. The pomegranate juice, cappuccino and espressos were delicious. The room was elegant and beautiful renovated to bring out the ancient beauty of the building. The bed and pillows most comfortable. Nanni is an excellent host. He provided excellent ideas of how to spend your time in Ragusa and the surrounding area. Nanni was always near and helpful with parking the car, escorting us to our room and being a joy to be around. Cant wait to return and stay for longer than the two nights we had planned. We had a delicious meal at Agli Arche and Trattoria La Botella. Nanni made these recommendations and we have excellent meals."

"Beautiful, historic property in a fantastic location just off the main square. The property has been recently modernized with a beautiful bathroom, soundproofed windows, and great AC. Yet they carefully maintained the historic details, such as the frescoed ceiling in our room. Best hotel of our entire trip!"

"The room was very clean and spacious. We reserved a quadruple. The location was close to the old town of Ibla. The breakfast was good and there was off-street parking. So I would recommend it to others."

"This place was amazing! Self check-in was easy. Parking instructions were very easy to understand. Room was nice, also very large. I slept like a baby! The pool was neat, and breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed there a second night!"
