"Nice spacious rooms. Had lots of facilities like swimming pool etc, but were not explained at the time of check-in. Clean and breakfast was good with good selection. Missing - tea/coffee percolator in the rooms. The earliest you could have a beverage was when the restaurant opened - 10 am. Restaurant for other meals - tried dinner once and decided to avoid and rather go to a couple of smallish restaurants in the vicinity. Check out - had a poor experience. "This a well presented hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had requested gluten free bread for my breakfast and the kitchen staff supplied me with bread, cake and biscuits every morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is around a ten minute walk from the hotel to the centre of Aveiro. Very happy with our stay at the Alfonso."
