O quarto e banheiro bem limpos, recepção prestativa, área local com Bar e sinuca, localizado próximo da plaza major e ponto de ônibus que leva a Machu Pichu. Recomendo e voltaria.

Staff not friendly, breakfast not bevor 8:15 wifi only sometimes
This stay started out poorly. I originally booked this room through Hotels.com at a rate of $7/night. A week before heading out, the hostal called to tell us that the price would actually be $28 (an increase of 400%!) The room was cold, the blankets were scratchy, the pillows were lumpy, the shower stayed warm for only 2 minutes, the toilets were super low flow (if you did #2, it would take at least 10 flushes to go down), and the area was noisy (my room was right next to the entrance of a shop).
The location was great though. The whole city was tiny and walkable. We waked to ATMs, mini marts, restaurants, the ruins, shops, and the train (to Machu Picchu) without any issue. Also, the wifi connected well.
Bottom line - I would not stay here again. There were other hostal and hotels around the area, so I would try out one of those l.
The structure of the place is very country. It has a blend of nature. It is nice, quiet, and safe. The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms are very small but it has the basic to have a nice sleep and shower. It is at around 5 minutes walking distance to take the train to Machu Picchu.
Had a wonderful experience at this hotel.
Rooms were clean and quiet. The common court yard was a beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the evening.
Close to the ruins and the plaza. Staff was very friendly. I would stay here again

Avoid at all costs.
The gentleman in-charge didn't have our full reservation upon arrival. I show the confirmation e-mail, and he says there is no reservation for 2 nights, and only has me for 9/5. Then, he tells me his son is the owner, and son handles Internet bookings, speaks english... so we can talk to him. He then shows me the reservation book, which has my name down for 9/5 only, and assigned to room #20. Then, he tells me room #20 hasn't checked out yet, so we'll have to wait. Again, fair enough since we arrived before the promised check-in.
A half hour goes by, and the occupants of room #20 return from town to the hostal (I saw them carry roomkey #20). The front desk man asks if they want to stay 1 more night, and they say yes, and then retire to their room. Room #20, right next to lobby. Red flag #1: staff gives away our room to someone else, when we were already in the books.
SUMMARY: I ask for receipt, he OKs me using dollars, calculator says 128 peruvian soles and he writes 130 on receipt, i ask for dollar translation on receipt, he tells me i'm a headache and asks me to leave hotel + go elsewhere.
Even for its price, it's certainly not worth anyone's time when the management treat you like a stray dog. I submitted a written complaint at the Tourism Office in the main plaza, and the staff there offered to join me + police to resolve it, but I declined. Honestly, we are foreigners in a South American country; nothing will be in our favor.
This hotel is close to the train station and Plaza de Armas of Ollantaytambo, but I wouldn´t recommed this hotel. Its not clean, very noisy, and they didn´t accepted credit card. The staff was not nice.
Hi, this hotel was ok with a good service from the owner. he was kind and did everything i asked.
The only problem was that the room was a bit too cold during the night. I asked for a portable radiator and i got it.
The rest was ok.
My friend and I went to Peru on a hiking trip and started by staying in Ollantaytambo. The hotel is right next to the market but was quiet. I really liked the layout of the establishment. For it's small "store-front", it had a great communal area.
I was skeptical about this place because of the price , but I was blown away!! The most charming hostal probably in Ollatantambo! Impeccable room and own bathroom. We did get the full side bed and was charged only the single room rate @ 20$. 5 minute walk to the train station to Machu Picchu. The trip for that day was flawless! I couldn't have asked for a better visit. Although, try to get a non shares bathroom. Other than that, it was perfect ! Christian and Christian jr. were a delight to deal with. Impeccable customer service! Highly recommended!!!

Básico pero suficiente
Sificiente para alojarse una noche en el camino de ida o vuelta de Machu Picchu.
This hostal has a great location with a short walk to the central plaza and the train station to MP. The room was very quiet with a pretty courtyard outside. They have internet in the lobby. There are better restaurants in the area than the hotel restaurant.
The hotel has a good price and serve its purpose perfectly: it is near the ruins, near the train, has nice beds and it is clean.
I stayed just for one night and I'd recommend it to anyone.
