"I definitely recommend the Residence Inn in Dothan. We stayed here while visiting our who is stationed at Ft. Rucker because the hotels nearest the base were booked. This was an easy, traffic free, 30 minute drive to the base. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was spacious and set up very nicely. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and good."

"The foldout couch was visibly dirty and had holes. It was broken and unusable. The bedding provided for it was threadbare and terribly scratchy. The wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was sticky. The floors were uneven and lumpy. The air conditioner was not cooling the room. The lobby of looked great. And the bathroom appeared to be clean. So there's that. We made the decision to make the drive home in the middle of the night rather than stay."
