"Clean and what I needed"

"Staff was nice. Room was clean but a little shabby in condition. But the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Location is weird but near where we needed to be. No view to speak of. Hotel is under renovations currently so be aware."

"The breakfast was lovely and the morning host (Florence) was absolutely charming. She really saved this hotel from getting a bad review. Check-in was shocking. It was supposed to be until 9:00pm but there was no one when we arrived at 8:30pm. Everything was closed. No one to answer the phone (we could hear it ring through the reception door). No instructions... This is located a little village in the middle of nowhere; nothing open around... We explored the buildings around looking for help and eventually found an open door and in the lobby we found an envelope with our keys. Room for 4pp with only 2 cups and one spoon for tea and coffee. We did not feel welcome! Until we met Florence the next morning, who made up for the our ordeal..."

"Charles, our host was very welcoming and helped us with ideas of things to do in the area. The pool was perfect in the warm weather and we enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful environment."

"Automated checkin was a little tricky as the options did not fit on the screen which moved the "confirm" button off the bottom. In the end we had to not pay for parking to enable the information to fit on the screen (So we had free parking, bonus!). Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was OK though we twice had to ask the receptionist to refill the food as it seems they could only cook 2 rashers of bacon at a time. Overall good value for money though and would stay with this chain again now we know what to expect."
